How SOWERS Began
SOWERS Theatre International Ministry was born out of a burning vision to see the unreached and under-evangelised peoples of the earth encounter the transforming power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Beginning with just a handful of dedicated missionaries, SOWERS grew into a multi-national ministry employing 9 distinct outreach strategies — from field missions and medical care to radio broadcasts and veterinary missions — all to break down barriers between communities and the Good News.
Today, SOWERS is active in 7 countries, has chapters in 5 nations, and has seen souls won from over 27 tribes. Every second, at least one life is being positively touched through the ministry.
The name "SOWERS" reflects our core calling: sowing the seeds of the gospel with faith, trusting God for the harvest that follows.
